Elevate Your Role
Become a Licensed Care Provider!

AFI 34-144 sets a clear mandate for individuals residing in family housing, whether military or privatized, who offer childcare services within their homes for more than 10 childcare hours per week – they must be licensed providers.

But what exactly constitutes a childcare hour? It's the product of time and the number of children under your care. Ignoring this directive not only jeopardizes your right to reside in base housing, but it also raises concerns about the quality and safety of childcare services.

Take a stand for excellence in childcare services! Join the ranks of licensed providers, and proudly display your license within your home and a sign outside. By doing so, you not only adhere to military regulations but also offer peace of mind to parents seeking Family Child Care (FCC) services.

Make a difference, secure your privilege, and become a licensed care provider – because childcare excellence starts with you. Join the Team!
